Saving Things vs. Hoarding

“You just never know when you’re gonna need it one day.”
This is a very common statement that pretty much everyone has said at one time or another, but there is a fine line between holding onto a few things “just in case” and allowing them to grow and accumulate to an unhealthy level. This is where one must consider if it is more than things and is on the cusp or has reached an actual hoarding disorder status.

Hoarding is classified as a mental health disorder and warrants mental health help from trusted professionals such as counselors, psychologists, and psychologists, as well as help with the sorting and cleanup help from professionals like Steri-Clean.

“There are 5 levels of Hoarding disorder, and no one starts at a level 5.” -Cory Chalmers
